Raw Cacao Caramel Superfood Slice

A divine dessert fit for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Packed full of super nutritious, high protein, mineral rich deliciousness. Amazingly easy to make and freezes for months (although it doesn't last a week in our family). Everyone who eats it is smitten. And yes it is refined sugar free!

Base:

  1. Blend 1/2 cup cashews, 1/2 cup pepitas

  2. Separately blend in 1 cup dates with a little water, add 1/2 cup cacao power, 1/2 cup coconut flour and 1/ 2 cup chia seeds

  3. Stir together in a big bowl

  4. Press into a cake dish or silicon cake mould

Caramel:

  • 1 cup tahini

  • 1/2 cup coconut flower nectar

  • 1 tsp of vanilla extract

  1. Stir and spread on the base

Dark Chocolate Topping:

  1. Mix 1/2 cup cacao with 1/4 cup coconut nectar and 2 tbsp cup coconut oil

  2. Spread on the caramel layer, sprinkle on cacao nibs and freeze for 1 hour

  3. Slice and store. It wont last long!
